I am Preston Green of Preston Green Home Builders, Inc. I want to thank you for taking a look at us as you consider your housing needs. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about us and our work in the Athens /Limestone community. We are situated in one of the nicest areas to live and work.   Athens is located in the center of Northern Alabama 15 miles from the Tennessee State line in historic Limestone County. The population of Athens is approximately 19,000 people. While Athens has an agricultural history, in recent years Athens has attracted major industry that has diversified the population. Education is a source of pride in the community, with its award-winning public school system and Athens State University which has been in operation since the 1800's.

I was born in Athens and attended ABS and Clements High School.  I went to college at Calhoun Community College and also University of North Alabama.  In 2005 I married Heather Todd and in 2010 we had our first child, Leara.  Then in 2013 we welcome our second daughter, Lydia.   We have been members at Oakland Church of Christ since 2005.  My company started in 2002 as a young man’s dream, since then my family and business have both grown through God’s blessings.  By remaining persistent, and keeping our eye on the future of the industry, this company has seen itself grow each year.  It is important to us to never forget where we have come from and to be thankful for each opportunity that has been given to us.  

Preston Green Home Builders, Inc. is pleased to be an active member of Athens Limestone Home Builders Association and is an Alabama State Licensed Home Builder. As builder association members, Preston Green Home Builders, subscribes to a defined code of ethics and conforms to performance standards for construction and business practices.  Preston has served as the 2011 ALHBA Vice President and Chairman of the Parade of Homes. Preston also has contributed to the Habitat for Humanity program and also worked with the Limestone County Vocational Center.  Preston Green Home Builders, Inc. has an A+ business rating with the North Alabama Better Business Bureau.
